Promotion Description
The “Golden Ticket” promotion awards one (1) eligible participant per branch location with a $500, 12month Certificate of Deposit (CD).
Drawing Mechanics
- Each participating branch will have one (1) sealed envelope containing one (1) Golden Ticket.
- Only one Golden Ticket is available per branch.
- Envelopes will be opened according to event procedures until the Golden Ticket is revealed.
- The individual who opens the envelope containing the Golden Ticket is the winner for that branch.
Prize Details
- The prize consists of a $500 Certificate of Deposit with a 12-month term.
- The CD will be opened in the winner’s name at Horizon Credit Union.
- No substitutions, cash equivalents, or transfers of the prize are permitted.
- The CD is subject to all standard account terms, conditions, disclosures, and early withdrawal penalties.
Eligibility
- Participants must meet all membership and account-opening requirements of the sponsoring institution.
- Winner must be an existing member in good standing* or open an account with Horizon Credit Union.
- Employees of Horizon Credit Union and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and members of the same household) are not eligible to participate or win.
- Volunteers of Horizon Credit union and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and members of the same household) and not eligible to participate or win.
- Winners of any Horizon Credit Union give-a-way style promotions in the past year are not eligible.
Limitations
- Limit one (1) Golden Ticket winner per branch location.
- One membership per household during our 70th Anniversary Branch Celebrations.
- Odds of winning depend on the number of participants at each branch event.
- Once the Golden Ticket is claimed, no additional prizes will be awarded at that branch.
General Conditions
- The sponsoring institution reserves the right to verify eligibility and prize acceptance.
- The promotion may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time at the institution’s discretion.
- Participation constitutes acceptance of these official rules and all applicable institutional policies.
*Good standing: Account not in dormant status; accounts do not violate any membership terms and/or agreements. Loans on account cannot be in delinquent status or in violation of its loan agreement. Contact information is current. May not have caused Horizon Credit Union a loss.
