Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit is a free service that automatically deposits recurring income into any Horizon Credit Union checking or savings account you choose. Income you receive from your employer, Social Security, pension and retirement plans, the Armed Forces, VA Benefits, and annuity or dividend payments may all qualify for Direct Deposit.
The best part about Direct Deposit is:

  • It’s easy. Gives you freedom from having to take your check to the credit union.
  • It’s quick. You have same day access to your money the day it is deposited.
  • It’s safe. Never worry about checks getting lost, delayed, or stolen.

All you need to do is fill out the Direct Deposit Enrollment Form and provide the information to the company or agency that pays you. Your payor may ask you to complete their own form or provide a voided check in order to process your request.

Tax Refund Direct Deposit

Tax time can be stressful. Take a little bit of stress out by making sure your direct deposit information for your Tax Refund is correct. Here’s two methods for updating your account information for taxes.

  1. Fill out and provide the Direct Deposit Form to your tax provider.
  2. Input your information into the tax form yourself. It’ll require your account number for direct deposit and that will be your account number + suffix. Example, if your account number is 987654 and you want your deposit sent into checking, your account number would be 987654001.

      • Checking: 001
      • Shares: 000

You will also need to know the Routing Number of HCU. That is 324377011.
