Do you know a student that has big dreams and plans for a big future? We can help get them started! HCU is offering three scholarships to students who are ready for a real-life experience! The Davis Tech Summer Youth Experience offers a chance for students aged 14-17 years to experience their big dreams with hands-on activities in their chosen field. See course list and dates here.
The scholarship is available to any student between the ages of 14-17 with a Horizon account. The student must submit a one-page essay (double spaced, 12-point font, and pdf format) about themselves, what course they want to attend and why. Submit essays here.
Entries must be in by May 21, 2025. Winners will be selected and contacted on May 23, 2025.
One entry per student. Students can be registered for the course without paying for up to five days prior to possible win. Course payment ahead of winning will be reimbursed. Student and students’ guardian(s) must be willing to sign a release form to use winners first name and story in the future with Horizon Utah Federal Credit Union marketing and social media. Horizon Utah Federal Credit Union is unable to guarantee the availability of the desired course. Immediate family members of the credit union team members are not eligible. Incomplete submissions will be disqualified.
